Welcome to Thune Fine Art, Furniture, Fine Woodworking, & Ceramics!
Started in Los Angeles in 2010, Thune Fine Art offers brokerage and other art services to its clients in the Fine Art field. Consisting of a pair of ex-auction house specialists, Naomi and Mason Thune have brought their talents to the private dealing and consulting world and offer their experience in appraisals, brokerage, curating, conservation and framing, and other such services. Please reach out if you have any need of such consulting services, or if you simply want to sell your work in a private and confidential setting. We will make every effort to make a market-value based offer on any work or collection of works you may have need to divest of. We can also be useful when building a collection. We have an inventory of blue-chip works by major artists in many varied collecting categories and, if we don't have something in stock that appeals to you or suits your collecting needs, can advise on purchasing at auction or in a retail setting to find you the best possible work for your collection.
More recently, both Naomi and Mason have began to pursue their own artistic and creative expression. Mason has built his own private wood shop where he makes furniture and other fine woodworking, including such things as cutting boards, coasters, decorative trays and boxes, plant stands, and other such items. Often these smaller items can be found in stock at any given time, however Mason can also create larger items, such as bookshelves, tables, drafting tables, nightstands, and such on request. Please reach out if you have any questions or specific requests.
Naomi has continued to cultivate a former passion of hers in pottery and ceramics. She spends her time in the pottery studio both working on her own projects as well as helping students develop their skills both at the wheel as well as with glazes and design. Examples of her work can be seen on our ceramics page, many of which are for sale, and specific commissions can also be requested as time permits.
Please look through our site and feel free to reach out to us if there is anything we can help with.
Thanks very much for visiting!
